Week 4 - Unplug

I'm going to be completely honest when I tell you that I was really bad at this week's challenge.
I really like the idea of unplugging from computers and phones - I really do - and I try not to rely on these things too much but...it's a different story when you're off track. It's a way I can keep in touch with Chris in Wyoming, Kelsi in Oregon, Madisen in Utah, Brianne's in Missouri right now and bah. When I come home for the break, I tend to live on the internet when I'd much rather live in real life. I've been using my drawing in photoshop more and I'm ALMOST done with LOST, so. Yeah. I don't have very good excuses, but I did not do a good job this week.

But, here's a cool story that did happen because I didn't uplug (haha).
I was able to reconnect with an old neighbor and family friend from when we all lived in Orange County. Her name is Abby, and it turns out that she's an incredibly talented artist and we've had a good time talking animation stuff together. I was happy to see that she was doing so well.
I know older people really enjoy facebook for that reason - they can reconnect from people they knew and haven't heard from in several years. But for the younger people like me, we just add people knowing we'll see them at school the next day. Not really special.
This experience is probably one of the only really great things that has happened because of facebook and instagram.

P.S. Wow, can I just tell you how happy I am about this time change? I forget how great it is each year.
