Yesterday I absolutely could not focus, so I decided that I needed to go out for a walk, as cold as it was. I gave myself an objective to make it more entertaining, and I took the camera.

I brought it with me over Thanksgiving to try and get a better understanding of aperture and ISO and all that. I was having the hardest time getting clear pictures, and didn't discover that it was on Manual Focus until the last day. Bah. I felt dumb, but oh well.

I have a lot to learn, about photography and how to care for the camera itself. I enjoyed my mom's camera when I was a teenager, but everything was on auto. I'd like to branch out.
I'm really looking forward to see what I can come up with.
